About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced System Architect to join its engineering team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will play a key part in defining end-to-end software deployment solutions for connected vehicle platforms, with a particular focus on remote software download, connectivity, and uptime services.

Working closely with fellow system architects and stakeholders across production, aftermarket, and product development, you will analyze requirements, define technical concepts, and contribute to the architecture of future software deployment solutions. You will also ensure that proposed concepts are documented, anchored within governance forums, and aligned across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other system architects to define end-to-end software deployment solutions.

• Analyze business and technical requirements together with stakeholders across production, aftermarket, and development.

• Break down requirements into scalable technical concepts and architectural solutions.

• Lead concept development and support technical decision-making within assigned areas.

• Present and anchor proposed concepts in governance forums for review and approval.

• Document architectural concepts, technical decisions, and decision logs for future reference.

• Apply technical expertise to analyze complex challenges and areas of uncertainty.

• Execute architectural activities according to established plans, priorities, and technical directives.

• Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment by supporting colleagues and sharing technical knowledge.

Profile - who are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

• 12+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Recognized expert within your technical discipline.

• Strong knowledge of remote software download (Over-the-Air / OTA) solutions.

• Strong knowledge of connectivity services and functions.

• Experience working with both onboard and offboard systems related to software deployment.

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across production, aftermarket, and product development.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an architectural team.

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Desirable:

• Experience defining end-to-end software deployment architectures.

• Experience performing technical requirement analysis and concept development.

• Experience documenting architectural concepts and technical decision logs.

• Experience presenting and anchoring technical concepts in governance forums.
